Nobody wants to spend their holiday stood over a hob. Easy caravan meals are quick to make, easy to clean up after, and don’t need much more than a hob, a microwave, and whatever’s in the fridge.
Below are six simple caravan meal ideas — three one-pan dinners and three no-cook lunches — each with a full recipe.
So whether you’re cooking for a family or just for two, dinner’s sorted in minutes and you’ve got more time free for a day out in Skegness.

What to Pack for Your Caravan Kitchen
Most static caravans come with a hob, microwave, and basic pans as standard, but it’s worth packing a few extras — some cling film or foil.
It’s also worth keeping half an eye on food safety when you’re cooking with unfamiliar kitchen kit — GOV.UK’s guidance on cooking food safely has handy tips on checking mince, sausages, and other meat are cooked all the way through.
For a full rundown of what to bring (and what’s usually already provided), see our essential packing checklist for a caravan holiday.

Most caravan parks are within easy reach of a supermarket, so there’s no need to over-pack the car with food you can easily pick up locally.
Kingfisher also has its own on-site shop, open 7 days a week, so you can top up on any forgotten bits without leaving the park.
Our static caravans at Kingfisher come with a fully equipped kitchen, so a light food shop is really all you need to bring.
