Skegness is a coastal town on the east coast of Lincolnshire. Skegness is full of exciting things to do, from its pleasure beach to arcades, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. In our blog, we’re going to be exploring Skegness Market and all its glory.
Skegness Market
Skegness Market is located on Fantasy Island in Ingoldmells, which is a couple of minutes away from Skegness itself. It’s known as being Europe’s biggest seven-day market. It’s also a one-of-a-kind market and completely free to enter. So you don’t have to worry about getting tickets or spending money to enter the market. The market includes over 320 stalls and shops, so you’ll find something you’ll like.
Skegness Market is open 7 days a week from March to November, from 10am to 4pm. In addition, its times are extended in the summer holidays. So the kids can enjoy the rides at Fantasy Island, and you can enjoy a little shopping spree.
Stalls and Shops
Although there are over 320 stalls and shops, here are a few we recommend going to. If you’re looking for a nice wall print to take home, or even put up in your caravan, you should visit Alton Canvas’s. These are one-of-a-kind abstract prints, hoping to add a little vibrancy to your wall.
If you’re looking for the latest trends and clothes at a discounted price, then visiting the Designer Warehouse is perfect for you. Whether you want Superdry, Adidas, or Fila, you’ll be able to find something for you or the kids. Or, if you’re looking for something specifically for your babies, then Katrina’s discount baby shop is ideal! Need something for your toddler quickly? This shop will have it!
If you want something a bit different, then J and C Military is the one for you. This shop sells army collectables and nostalgic items! Whether you like army models or Legos, then you’ll be in heaven! Anything army related and you can find it in this shop.
In addition to that, there’s also Louise’s hair braiding! Maybe your little one wants to have their hair braided with fancy beads or extensions, you can get that done here. If they’re also wanting their face painted, then going to the Original Face Painters is what you need.
If you’re wanting something a little alternative, then Peek a Gift is brilliant! This is a little alternative/gothic shop that sells anything from ornaments and accessories to wallets and crystals. This is perfect if you’re looking for a new decoration or a gift for the alternative person in your life.
Food and Drink
When you’ve shopped till you dropped, then sitting down and having a little snack sounds brilliant, and you’re in luck. Among the stalls and shops, you can find little food gems. From the chocolate experience to daydream donuts, you can find something that you’ll enjoy.
Whether you want a hot snack from Fantasy Foods or a coffee and milkshake from House of Coffee, you can enjoy your food and relax. While you’re there, why not visit Fantasy Island Rock, Sweets and Souvenirs and pick up a little piece of rock to take home?
